The stars of the film Drew Sidora, Lil Mama, and Keke Palmer along with the remaning members of TLC, Chilli and T- Boz hit up the red carpet as VH1 Premiered TLC’s Biopic ‘Crazy Sexy Cool‘ in New York. T-Boz and Chilli were joined by Diana Ross, Carl Anthony Payne II, Missy Elliott, Salt (from Salt N’ Pepa) Evan Ross, Ashlee Simpson, Teyana Taylor and K. Michelle at the premiere held at Lincoln Square’s AMC Loews.
Even though “Left Eye” Lopes is no longer here we’re hearing that Lisa’s energetic spirit was felt, through not only her surviving TLC musical sisters, but through her sister Reigndrop Lopes who attended on behalf of the family, and through Lil Mama herself, who helped bring Left Eye back to life in film. Other main cast members in attendance included Rochelle Aytes, who portrays the group’s former manager singer Perri “Pebbles” Reid. Carl Anthony Payne portrayed Laface Records head Antonio “LA” Reid”. Pebbles who in essence is the film’s “antagonist” was noticeably absent from the premiere and has not been involved in promotion of the film.
